Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, Y'all!!!

Lately, my combo skin has been super dry and patchy. Especially on my T- zone area.
When I put my foundation on, it looks horrible.  I found this Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil in my sample drawer. (That's where I keep all my Ipsy/Sephora/Ulta samples in.)
I have been using this every day for a few weeks now. I absolutely love it!!! I was skeptical at first, but it really locks in the moisture without my face looking oily! Not sure how it will fare in the summer, but it definitely works now! This is one product I will be purchasing soon!

Sol Janerio Coco Cabana Cream

I have been wanting to try this since it came out. When I placed an order with Sephora the other day, this sample came with my package. I opened this little sample up and slathered on the cream. Or should I say, gel. (It’s more of a gel consistency than a cream) if goes on so smooth and silky, but I was hit with a little bit of nostalgia. It smelled like something very familiar, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Then, it hit me! It smells like the taste of buttered popcorn Jelly Belly’s! Now, I just can’t get past the smell. So glad it came as a sample and I didn’t buy the full size tub of it! Lol!

Top 5 of the Week

#1 I have trouble sleeping at night and I don't like taking NyQuil or Tylenol PM as a sleep aid. I have tried Melatonin pills before and they did nothing for me.  I saw these VitaFusion Beauty Sleep gummies at Walmart and decided to try them on a whim. So glad I did! These are awesome!!!! Just be sure to chew them up thoroughly before swallowing them.

#2  My cousin and her husband came up last weekend for a visit.  Before we all went to bed, we decided to watch the first episode of Stranger Things. Boy was that a mistake! We were all hooked and we made a pretty tight schedule for their visit, so the struggle was real to stop watching it and sleep.  As soon as they left, we watched the rest of the season.  It. was. AWESOME!!!

#3 I went on a Dollar Tree haul the other day. I purchased Suave Moroccan infusion body lotion, 6 blade razors, lavender scented Epsom salts, Yeti pot, (Generic Neti Pot), USB car charger, hand mirror, and scrunchies.

#4 I borrowed this audio book from the library on Friday.  I like to listen to audio books while I am at work. Mr. Peanut by Adam Ross has a Gone Girl like feel to it.  I like it so far!

#5 My furbaby enjoying her pool.

March Favorites

Here are my favorite products from March:

1. Dove Cream Oil
This stuff is amazing.  It feels so good when I rubs the lotion on the skins.  Lol! (Sorry, just had to do it!) It has shea butter with oil.  Makes my skin feel silky.  Love, love, LOVE it!!!!

2. L'Oreal Boost it.
And boosts, it does!!!! I absolutely love how amazing this is.  I am so forgetful. Half the time, I forget to put root lifting spray when my hair is damp. Your hair doesn't need to be damp for this to work!!!

3. Play it Big Voluminzing Dry Shampoo

I NEVER wash my hair everyday.  On the days I don't wash my hair, I use this.  I will NEVER use another dry shampoo again.  This one definitely volumizes when I tease it.  This is one of my hair staples!!!

4. L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation

I have ridiculously oily skin and MUST use oil free foundations. THIS IS FREAKING AWESOME!!!! I feel like its a Smashbox dupe! I feel like the packaging is even similar to Smashbox's. If you have oily skin, you will LOVE it!

5. Wet n Wild Come Correct Concealer

For a drug store concealer, this is pretty great! It lasts almost all day long. I am very picky about my concealers, and this covers the worst of my cystic acne when it pops up!

6. L'Oreal Split End Fixer

Just after one week of this leave-in treatment, my split ends are way better than they were.  I could really tell a difference! The best part is your hair doesn't need to be wet.  You just put it in dry.  I put more in it on the next day when I don't wash my hair.
