What I’m Wearing Wednesday

Decided to try out the the Wet N Wild products I talked about in my last blog post. (Click here to read it). Not too bad!!! I’m very impressed with the quality compared to the price!

Have you tried Wet N Wild products?
Which are your favorite??

Mini Wet N Wild Haul

A couple weeks ago, while strolling down the Walmart aisles, I decided to pick up and try these Wet N Wild items. I purchased the photofocus Foundation, Bronzer in Palm Beach Ready, Highlighter in Blossom Glow, Mini palettes in Walking on Eggshells & Silent Treatment, photofocus Rose 3-in-1 Primer- Fixer- Setting Spray, and mega last eyeliner.

I'm going to do a look sometime next week and use all of these items. I have purchased and used both of the mini palettes before and I know I love them!

Have you used any of these products before?
What did you think?
Drop me comments below. I love hearing from you!

Urban Decay Naked Cherry

Today I decided to throw on some eyeshadow from the Urban Decay Naked Cherry palette and some cute Eyelure lashes! Filled in my lips with some lip stain and chapstick on top.

Have you tried the UD Naked Cherry palette yet?

Dollar Tree Haul

I went to the Dollar Tree the other day, and check out all the Yes To masks I found!!!!
I found a coconut moisturizing over night mask, clear skin tomato mask, charcoal detox paper mask, cotton comforting mask, and a tomato clear skin detoxifying clear skin powder to clay mask.
I also picked up a mask applicator. Those suckers are way more than a dollar!!!! I was so excited for this little Dollar Tree mini haul!

Have you seen these masks at you local Dollar Tree?
Have you tried any of them? What did you think?

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, Y'all!!!

Lately, my combo skin has been super dry and patchy. Especially on my T- zone area.
When I put my foundation on, it looks horrible.  I found this Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil in my sample drawer. (That's where I keep all my Ipsy/Sephora/Ulta samples in.)
I have been using this every day for a few weeks now. I absolutely love it!!! I was skeptical at first, but it really locks in the moisture without my face looking oily! Not sure how it will fare in the summer, but it definitely works now! This is one product I will be purchasing soon!

Sol Janerio Coco Cabana Cream

I have been wanting to try this since it came out. When I placed an order with Sephora the other day, this sample came with my package. I opened this little sample up and slathered on the cream. Or should I say, gel. (It’s more of a gel consistency than a cream) if goes on so smooth and silky, but I was hit with a little bit of nostalgia. It smelled like something very familiar, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Then, it hit me! It smells like the taste of buttered popcorn Jelly Belly’s! Now, I just can’t get past the smell. So glad it came as a sample and I didn’t buy the full size tub of it! Lol!

WunderBrow Tutorial and Review

WunderBrow is a gel my friend, Tomala, introduced me to. Once applied, it claims to last on your brows for days! It has hair- like fibers that affix to thin or sparse eyebrows to give you more shape and fullness. It was easy to apply.  It came with simple instructions and didn't take much time.  They even had one for Blonde hair! (Which is what I used) It comes in a box. Inside the box, you find the gel, (which looks like a tube of lip gloss) a spooley, and the instructions.  I did a quick tutorial on my first time applying it.
You can check it out here:

For me, it only lasted three days.  However, I have to admit, I did forget about it and really scrubbed my face the first night, and the second night I was a little easier.  Day two, after getting out of the shower, I had to use the spooley to reshape them since the shower spayed down on them.  The color was still there, they just needed a little brushing to keep them in place. By day three, after I got out of the shower, it was patchy in some areas.  I just applied more to the sparse places. I do have to admit it made a difference and it really held my brows in place.  I usually fill them in with eyebrow gel and use a clear mascara to lock them in place, but this had the same effect only lasted a lot longer.  Definitely worth the purchase!!!

Work Day Look vs Weekend Look

During the work week, I am extremely low maintenance.

...but come weekend, I am ready to glam it up!

During the week, I use Neutrogena shine control primer. The weekends I take my time and use Benefit's Pore Professional and Smashbox photo finish primer.

To be honest, I have to say ELF's eye shadow primer is by far the closest dupe for Benefit's Lemon Aid.

During the week, my face gets super oily at work. Cover Girl's Ready Set Gorgeous is a great inexpensive oil free foundation.  My favorite high end oil free foundation is Estee Lauder Double Wear.

During the week I only use Wet n Wild concealer on my breakout areas, but on the weekend, I use Amazing Concealer on my break out areas and Benefit's Fake up under the eyes.  Its moisturizing so my user eyes don't look caked or dried out.

For everyday wear, I prefer to use Cover Girl's Ready Set Gorgeous powder, and weekends I use Bare Minerals Mineral Veil loose powder.

Wet n Wild's 308B Walking on Egg shells is like a dupe for some Urban Decay shades! I love to wear it during the week. When I want to glam it up on the weekends, I like to use my Urban Decay palettes.

I will wear just about any eyeliner during the week, but on the weekends, I like to use Rimmel's Exaggerate waterproof eyeliner and Tarte brow pencil. I usually don't fill in my brows during the week.... ain't nobody got time for that! Lol!

I use Flower blush and bronzer duo daily and the Sephora bronzer and blush set when I want to take my time and make my contour on point!

I use Benefit's Roller Lash every single day!!!! Why? BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE TO USE A LASH CURLER!!!!!!!! How awesome is that!?!? Not only does it save time, but it looks amazing too!

I am a bit of a lip product addict, but during the work week, I use chapstick constantly!!! During the weekend I have a whole drawer FULL of lip stains, tints, sticks and glosses! However, when I really want to glam it up, I use my beautiful signature red Chanel Lipstick.

Top 5 Favorite Chapsticks

In no particular order, here are my top five favorite chap sticks:

1. Sugar {Sephora}
2. Sephora Nourishing Lip Balm {Sephora}
3. Eos Chap Stick {Five Below}
4. Nivea Lip Butter {Target}
5. Chapstick Original {Walmart}

Benefit Roller Lash vs Rimmel Super Curler

While I was shopping at Target the other day, I came across this new mascara! Rimmel's Super Curler mascara. It reminded me of Benefit's Roller Lash mascara, so I decided to buy it and try it out.

Left Eye: Benefit Roller Lash mascara
Right Eye: No Mascara

Left Eye: Rimmel Super Curler mascara
Right Eye: No Mascara

What I was hoping for, was a dupe. Close, but no cigar! It definitely wasn't lengthening like Roller Lash, but Super Curler is nice for a quick everyday look.

IlluMask- Worth the hype?

A year and a half ago, something very traumatic and stressful happened to me. Since then, I now have adult acne. Since that stress hasn't gone away, neither has my acne. I have even seen a dermatologist. I was on antibiotics for 3 months and it didn't help. Last year around this time I decided to try the illuMask. It's a mask that uses safe light therapy to kill acne and reduce inflammation. All you do is simply put the mask on, and push the button on the controller. It will automatically come on and stay on for 15 min. It shuts off on its own. You do it daily.

When I first used it last year, I didn't do it daily. Eventually, I put it away and forgot all about it.  The other day, while at Target, I found one on clearance. I bought it and dug out my old one to finish the remaining sessions I had on it.  I have been using it every single night for a week now. (Major accomplishment that I actually remember to do it every night! lol!) I can honestly say I have noticed a difference. So far I have seen a better difference than I did with the antibiotics the dermatologist put me on.

Eye Shadows I've been Obsessed With

I have been quite obsessed with teal-ish green color lately. I decided to pair these eye colors last week and now I can't stop wearing it!!! I am so bummed because the lighting sucks in my makeup room and the pictures just don't do my eyes any justice.

Brow bone: Maybelline in Champagne Fizz
Crease: Urban Decay Naked 2 in Pistol
Eyelid: Maybelline Color Tattoo in Edgy Emerald

November Favorites

1. One 'N Only Argan Oil I have been trying different oils for my hair this year.  I have come to realize I don't think I will ever like any oil like I love this one.

2. Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser I used this a couple of times last year. My mom was talking to me a few weeks ago about how she started using it and how much she likes it. Once I ran out of my usual cleanser, I looked in my bathroom closet for this jar of Ponds that I only used a couple of times. I found it, started using it, and now I am loving it!

3. Essie and Nicole Nail Polishes This is my favorite fall duo! I love using Essie Mink Muffs for my nails, and Nicole On A Gilt Trip for my accent nails.

4. Boots Botanics Moisturizer I ran out of my usual moisturizer, so I decided to try this.  I'm impressed! I really like this oil-free moisturizer!

.5. Lush Sex Bomb I bought a few of these this past summer.  I love, love, LOVE the Sex Bomb!!! I have tried different bath bombs from Lush, but Sex Bomb is by far my favorite. The scent is amazing and I love how silky smooth my skin feels afterwards.

6. L'Oreal LaLaque Lipstick if you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed I put it on there. (@faithlovelipstick) Its a beautiful natural pinkish-mauve-y color. I used to post a Lip Color of the Week on Instagram and on here. I quit doing it, but what do you think? Do you think I should start it back up again?

Have you tried any of these products?

My First FabFitFun Box Unveiling

Have you ever heard of FabFitFun? It's a box that has health, beauty and fitness products in them. They are delivered 4 times a year. I ordered the Summer box a while back and just recently picked it up. The box has a $200 value for $49.99 plus free shipping. (I luckily had a coupon code so I didn't pay full price.) However, the website is offering 10% off at the moment!

When I first opened it up, I found a card on top of the wrapped paper. When I opened the card up, It lists every product in the box, a description of each product, plus the price of each item.

Breaking of the paper!!!!
It didn't look like a whole lot at first, but every time I would pull something out, I kept finding more in the box!

1. Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Spray Moisturizer- (retail: $7.99) I actually use this a lot!!! I love it. It is so convenient to spray all over quickly.  One common misconception is that you just spray it on and go.   I mean, I guess you technically could, but it just feels too weird.  I always rub it in once I spray it all over. Regardless, I find it takes less time than regular body lotion! Plus, It's perfect for summer!

2. Scratch Nail Wraps- (retail: $12) I've never used them, nor heard of them.  I do like nail wraps, so I am excited to try them out! They supposedly last as long as polish. I'm excited to see!

3. Tarte LipSurge LipGloss- (retail: $19) I love Tarte Lipglosses! I haven't tried this shade yet, but I can't wait to try it and feature it on an upcoming Lip Color of the Week post! They are non-sticky, and infused with vitamin E, jojoba oil and flower extract.

4. The Everyday Wireless Speaker-  (retail: $29.99) I could have really used this about a month ago while I was at the beach! This awesome little wireless speaker pairs up to 30 feet! It's also hands free speaker phone and Aux-in & FM radio!!!

5. Inkling Scents Sultry Roll-On Oil Perfume- (retail: $25) Oh my goodness, Y'all, this smells amazing!!!! I LOVE it! It is alcohol-free.  It smells like: creamy sandalwood,  white amber, lotus flower, orchid, Bulgarian rose and vanilla. It also comes with a 15% off coupon code if I want to purchase another one of their 20+ scents!

6. Gorge "I'll Make You Look Amazing" Daily Spray-  (retail: $24.95) At first, I thought this was an Argon type oil spray. It's actually a leave in conditioner! I can't wait to try this!

7. CosmoBody Jump Rope-  (retail: $14) I haven't used a jump rope in years!!! I used to love jumping rope.  Especially with my cousins.  Ames and Annie were the ones to teach me how to double dutch jump rope.  According to the FFF card, you can burn around 150 calories in a 10 minute session!!! Also, they have a workout video for you to view! Can't wait to do this later today!

8. Hello Konjac Cleansing Sponge- (retail: $12) I actually saw this sponge on a vlogger video! It's used by Korean women to gently exfoliate and cleanse pores. It's suppose to be pillow soft.  The video I saw said to make sure you thoroughly rinse the sponge after you use it. Just hang dry.

9. Headspace 3-Month Subscription- (retail: $38.85) This app is guided meditations. Apparently, tons of Celebrities use this! It helps change your mindset and make your day.

10. Wren 14k Gold & Black Sapphire Necklace- ($100) I got the dainty gold horseshoe necklace with the black sapphire. It is super cute!

August Favorites

1. How 'Bout Them Apples Cheek & Lip Color
I bought this a while back on TopHatter. I got a great deal on it! So far, I love using the coral colors on my cheeks.

2. Psssst!  Instant Dry Shampoo
I purchased this from Ulta. I think this works great for a cheap dry shampoo.

3. Octavio Sea salt spray
Whoa! This was awesome!!! I actually have used other beachy like sprays and they didn't work very well in my hair. I have naturally poker straight hair.  I was shocked at how great it made my hair look, and it lasted all day plus the next!!! VERY pleased with this product!!!!

4. Estee Lauder  Double Wear foundation
This is an oldie, but a goodie.  This is the best foundation I have found for super oily skin.  I usually only break it out for special occasions, but I have found myself using it a lot more than usual. I just love how it keeps my face matte and lasts all day long.

5. Sephora Blush and Bronzer
I purchased this while it was on sale a while back and I'm just now starting to use it.  I love the bronzer because it is perfect for my pale skin tone!

6. Crest 3D Gentle White Strips
This has a pro and a con.
Pro: It is actually gentle as it claims.  Usually, when I use Crest White strips, my teeth hurt afterwards for a almost a day. They work really well, but they hurt! You also only wear them for 5 minutes!!! These strips are awesome because I have no pain at all! Yay!!!
Con: I don't feel like they whiten as well as the other Crest strips.  They whiten, just not as well as the other ones do.  Overall, I am pleased!
